
Kent is a senior consultant and executive coach for Cambria with over 30 years of consulting and business experience helping leaders, employees, and teams improve business performance. A business improvement veteran and a specialist in strategic implementation, he has driven business productivity, efficiency and bottom-line gains as a manager, coach, and leader. Kent also has expertise in strategic planning, change management, system/process improvement, leadership, and teamwork. At Cambria, he partners with clients to build organizational capabilities and systems that support positive results, helping them develop the talent and resources that will enable them to achieve sustainable results through the alignment of business strategy, organizational structure, and people strategy.
Kent’s professional background includes human resources, marketing, and extensive experience in developing scorecarding and benchmarking initiatives to monitor and facilitate business improvement plans. Prior to starting his own consulting and coaching firm, he held numerous executive positions with Amoco Corporation British Petroleum-BP plc and its subsidiaries, in addition to consulting with officers and executives. In addition to his role at Cambria, Kent is currently a principal of CI — Beyond People & Business Process, a strategic consulting practice.
Kent received his BS in chemistry and animal sciences from Western Illinois University. He is certified in a number of instruments and processes, including Benchmarks, DiSC, MBTI, PDI Profilor, and the Leadership Agility 360. He is a member of SHRM, Malcolm Baldrige/NIST, ASTD, and ASQ, and has presented at conferences on such topics as strategic measurement, business assessment, and translating strategy into results.
