Kim Spivey, Senior Consultant

Kim is a senior consultant and executive coach for Cambria with over 25 years of experience in organizational strategy, OD and leadership development, human resources, and financial industry sales and service management. Kim has held key leadership positions in sales and service, human resources, and diversity strategy. She most recently held the position of SVP, Director of Diversity and Employee Engagement for Wachovia Corporation and, with the CEO, co-led the Corporate Diversity Council. Leveraging her business experience as well as her consulting expertise, Kim has advised executives and senior leaders from a wide range of business functions including finance, legal, operations, brokerage, retail sales, marketing, and wealth management in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. She has developed and implemented successful strategies for mergers and acquisitions, new business creation, employer branding and engagement, communications, culture change, organizational redesign, and team performance. She is known as a leader who is visionary and has strong execution ability.

As an executive coach, Kim works with leaders at senior and c-suite levels to identify strategies for personal and team success. She has particular experience working with leaders who need to adapt their leadership in the face of significant change.

Kim holds a BA in American government from the University of Virginia and an MA in organization leadership and development with a coaching certificate from Fielding Graduate University. Kim is an active community leader serving on the boards of Project One Scholarship Fund and Louisburg College, and volunteering with efforts to fight poverty and hunger.
