Michael Sabbag, Senior Consultant

Michael is a senior consultant for Cambria with a focus on software development, marketing, and implementation consulting in the areas of assessment, development planning, and coaching. He is an author, speaker, and leading training, performance, organizational development, and talent management professional with experience that spans over 25 years. Prior to joining Cambria, Michael was the vice president of learning and performance at Signature Consultants where he and his team were responsible for partnering with leaders and employees to create a learning organization. As the senior vice president of talent for Learn.com, he established and was responsible for all talent management consulting services, HR, OD, and training. Michael has also consulted to hundreds of organizations on talent management, HR, and training challenges.

In addition, Michael has presented to thousands of professionals on current trends in the human capital industry, developing exemplary performance, competency model development, measuring ROI, and a variety of other HR, OD, and training related topics. He is the author of Developing Exemplary Performance One Person at a Time, received the South Florida Business Journal “Excellence in Human Resources” award, was a member of the ASTD National Advisors for Chapters team from 2008 through 2010, received HR Leadership Award from the World HR Congress in February 2009, and was the 2006 President of the Ft. Lauderdale Chapter of ASTD.

Michael received a BS in psychology from Florida State University and an MA in industrial psychology from University of the Pacific. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources from SHRM.
