Competency Modeling

For a large diversified development and manufacturing company, Cambria developed a customized competency model for the Program Manager role in order to help the company improve its internal and external selection and development of high performers who would succeed in this critical and challenging position. Cambria built the model based on in-depth interviews with outstanding Program Managers, and it validated the model through panel reviews and surveys with additional incumbents and senior management. The model became the basis for a Program Manager Development Assessment Center, which Cambria developed utilizing a sophisticated and realistic, on-line Program Management simulation with coaches who assessed participants against the Program Manager competencies.
