Strategy Implementation Assessments
Following a major strategic acquisition, a global technology client asked Cambria to develop and administer a survey to gauge employee reactions to the acquisition and to assist the company in planning an HR strategy to keep the momentum going for business performance.
Cambria designed the survey to increase the likelihood that the responses would reflect issues with the actual work processes and activities rather than be overwhelmed by reactions to the acquisition itself. This involved interspersing the typical Likert-type questions with open-ended questions that targeted key organizational processes and issues. This provided the client with considerable examples of what was actually happening and what the links were to key morale indicators and potential attrition. As a result, the client was able to pinpoint from the survey responses themselves key actions that they needed to take in order to reduce the adverse impact on morale of the acquisition.
