- Before the simulation, an e-learning CD draws participants into the simulated organization with assignments that bring them up to date in their role, unlike other simulations that drop participants unprepared into new scenarios.
- Participants view hallway conversations, participate in meetings and discussions, and receive emails and voice mails in real time – just as they would in real life on the job.
It incorporates a fully functional Microsoft Outlook™ system, Microsoft Office™ tools, and Macromedia Flash™ technology, minimizing user training and system maintenance. - Simulation activities are delivered via the Internet, a company intranet, or CD-ROM, allowing a seamless blend with interactive role-plays, just-in-time feedback sessions, written assignments, and comprehensive developmental planning discussions.
Two recent examples showcase Cambria’s blended learning solution. One is an intensive two-day simulation for project managers, combining business and technical knowledge with leadership challenges in a six-month product development program simulation. The other is a one-day learning event for high-potential IT personnel in a large health care products company that teaches them leadership skills.
