BOSTON, Mass. (October 18, 2004) – Business Week’s October 18 issue summarizes their bi-annual survey of recent B-school graduates. Since 1998 Cambria has played a major role in the design, implementation, analysis and reporting of this highly regarded, on-line global survey. Over the last six years Cambria has helped refine the approach to the survey and suggested some key changes to make the surveys more compelling and easier to complete. One measure of our success is the survey response rate: Despite some widely publicized resistance on the part of some B-schools the response rate in 2004 was an amazing 56%!

Our internal survey team has built a very robust, state-of-the-art platform for collecting and reporting this survey data. Our long-term and ongoing relationship with Business Week reflects our commitment to developing customized solutions for our clients. For example, in 2003 the Cambria team worked closely with Business Week to develop its first and one of the largest B-School alumni studies ever in order to address the question of whether an MBA was worth the investment. The careful design of the questions highlighted significant new perspectives on the value of an MBA and role of MBAs.

While this set of surveys ties neatly into Cambria’s focus on the development and effective utilization of people, it represents a small portion of our survey expertise.
