(June 27, 2005) – Cambria Consulting, a leader in state-of-the-art human resource and learning applications, announces the development of the Program Manager Leadership Simulation (PMLS). In the PMLS, Cambria has created a blended learning course that combines in-class training with a computer simulation that demonstrates the problems and issues that program managers must work through in order to succeed on the job. This highly realistic “day in the life” simulation is an interactive multimedia learning event where participants react to real-life challenges and risks and experience what it is actually like to manage a large-scale project or program.
One of the most difficult challenges is to create a realistic learning experience for people in highly complex jobs that involve a mix of functional skills, business acumen and leadership competencies. Cambria’s solution addresses all of these areas in an environment that is compelling to the participant and provides a foundation for learning and developmental feedback.

- The system makes use of standard Microsoft applications that minimize user training time and system maintenance.
