BOSTON, Mass. (June 5, 2007) – Cambria Consulting, Inc., a leading strategic HR consulting firm, announced today that it has elected Ellen Kumata to lead the firm as its first
Managing Director.
Since its founding in 1985, the collective partners have managed Cambria, but with the growth and expansion of its service offerings, they decided to choose Ellen to coordinate the firm’s efforts toward future growth.
Ellen’s experience at Cambria spans over 20 years, during which time she built its executive coaching practice with a network of over 175 coaches located around the globe. In addition to her work as an eminent executive coach, Ellen has led engagements in succession planning, performance management, and leadership development and assessment. Her clients have included Alcoa, AT&T, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Citigroup, Deloitte, EMC, Fidelity Investments, Gap, JPMorgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, MetLife, Pepsi, and Wachovia.

Ellen holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan, a JD from Wayne State University, and an MSc in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
