![]() The Coaching Impact Study™ In 2004, Cambria launched the first ongoing study of the impact of executive coaching in Fortune 500 companies. Since then, we have invited businesses and government entities engaged in coaching to participate in our survey. Our first findings were presented in 2005 at the annual conference of the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology, and have been updated annually. More recently, a review of our methodology and major findings to date was published in the International Journal of Coaching in Organizations (2006 v4i3). Cambria invites any organization currently managing coaching activity to participate in the study. Study participants identify the coaching engagements and their stakeholders – coaches, coachees and their managers, as well as their HR contacts – who are asked to respond to an online survey at both the outset and the conclusion of the engagement. Our data collection is concise, minimally intrusive and simple. Participating organizations are also asked to make a nominal financial contribution to cover our data collection, analysis, reporting and publication costs.
