Mike is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), with more than 35 years of leadership experience in-uniform, culminating as the Chief Human Capital Officer (Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel), Headquarters, Department of the Army. Michael’s service in the US Army has provided him with unique and exceptionally relevant executive-level experience with which to serve his clients. Now a ICF-certified coach, he is valued by his clients for his collaborative approach, deep well of contextual relevance upon which he freely calls, and his mastery of the coaching process. Michael is also a certified Toastmaster and a sought-after public speaker, with experience delivering invitational addresses in a variety of venues, retreats, commencements, and keynotes at DoD conferences.
Mike completed his coaching training at George Mason University, holds an MPA from Shippensburg University and a BA from Norfolk State University. He is a George Mason University Coaching Fellow and a member of their coach training faculty, a member of the Board of Governors for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a member of the Board of Directors, Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) and a Trustee of the US Army War College Foundation.
