Managing Coaching Practices

“Managing Coaching Practices” was presented at the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology annual conference in Chicago on April 15, 2011, by Cambria’s managing director, Ellen Kumata, and co-leader of Cambria’s coaching practice, Colleen Gentry.

This presentation addresses the challenges faced by HR organizations implementing coaching programs — selecting external coaches, training and managing internal coaches, ensuring alignment among them, engaging the “community of practice” meaningfully, documenting impact, and more. Ellen and Colleen share tips, tools, and lessons-learned from managing organizational coaching initiatives, revealing “the good, the bad, and the ugly” — inside and out.
